Sangiovese
From a careful parcel selection of grapes, comes the desire to express to the full the great potential of the Sangiovese that grows in the heart of our land. We have chosen to valorise its most authentic essence, without invasive interventions such as ageing in wood, but instead aiming to exalt the concentration of the fruit, with a profile that recalls savoury and balsamic notes, in perfect harmony with its rich personality.

Aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and complex hints of tobacco leaf and herbs. Balsamic.

Full, persistent flavour with clean, elegant tannin

Average harvest time
Careful selection of Sangiovese from different estate crus, harvest time second half of September.
Winemaking technique
Soft destemming and crushing, temperature-controlled fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 20-25 days
Refinement
12 months in large concrete conical vessels and further ageing in the bottle for at least 12 month
